Maintenance Technician II

The Maintenance Technician II performs intermediate-level maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems and equipment. This role conducts detailed troubleshooting, resolves equipment malfunctions, and restores operation of critical systems such as air handlers, HVAC components, and temperature-control devices. The technician responds to work orders and system failures with minimal supervision, often during off-shift hours, and provides technical support to Maintenance Worker I staff and hospital departments. Work is performed in accordance with departmental procedures, safety regulations, and regulatory standards. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of three (3) years of general maintenance, facilities, or building operations experience required
• Prior experience in a healthcare or institutional environment preferred
