Employment Status Per Diem Position Summary Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Sleep Medicine team at Central Maine Medical Center! This is a Per Diem position. About the Center At Central Maine Medical Center, our highly trained team—board‑certified pulmonologists, technologists, and other sleep specialists—use proven tools and techniques to identify and treat a full range of sleep disorders. We’re home to a full‑service sleep center in Lewiston, accredited by the Academy of Sleep Medicine. Job Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatment for patients with known or suspected sleep disorders under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Coordinator. Execute physician orders and approved protocols. Education & Experience Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in the State of Maine. Graduate of an AMA‑approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required. A minimum of one‑year respiratory care experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to engage patients and team members using CMH Experience Standards.
