Customer Service Rep

Position Summary

Abacus is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Hialeah Gardens, FL. This position is primarily office-based and serves as the primary point of contact for customers by providing exceptional service, processing orders, and resolving inquiries. When business needs require, the successful candidate will also assist the warehouse team by performing shipping and receiving clerical duties to support daily operations.

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm $19.50/hr

Must be able to speak/understand Spanish

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide professional and timely customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Process customer orders, shipments, and inventory transactions accurately.
• Maintain customer records and update information in company systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, inventory, and order status.
• Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and other required paperwork.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in warehouse management and customer systems.
• Assist with scheduling deliveries and coordinating transportation as needed.
• Support inventory control by verifying documentation and resolving discrepancies.
• Cross-train and assist as a Warehouse Clerk during peak business periods or as operational needs require.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, administrative, or logistics experience preferred.
• Warehouse or shipping/receiving clerical experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
