Location Planner / Permit Manager

Gold Metropolitan Media is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Location Planner / Permit Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to the success of our city light pole banner programs and is responsible for planning banner locations, managing permit applications, coordinating installations, and ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is proactive, process-driven, and motivated to learn , with a strong ability to stay organized and keep projects on track. What You’ll Do Build and manage location plans for light pole banner campaigns using spreadsheets and mapping tools Track selected banner locations through the database system Prepare and submit permit applications to municipalities across the region Monitor the permit process and proactively guide applications through to approval Coordinate and track permit fee payments Present location plans to clients and internal teams Provide detailed installation instructions to the GMM installation team Compile installation and removal reports using information gathered from the field team Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and internal processes Support limited client communication and coordination What We’re Looking For Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and mapping tools Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve processes Ability to take ownership of projects and follow them through to completion Experience in permitting, project coordination, planning, or operations is a plus but not required Work Schedule Monday – Friday Location Candidates must live in the Los Angeles area . This position will initially be primarily remote, with occasional workdays in our Van Nuys office. During the initial training period, the candidate may be asked to come into the office more frequently to support onboarding and hands‑on learning.
