Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our outpatient treatment center, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and growth of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group therapy sessions where young adults can share experiences, learn coping strategies, and foster a sense of community.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Offer personalized therapeutic support to clients, helping them delve into their experiences and develop tailored coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically targets young adults aged 18 to 30 experiencing a range of mental health issues. Your work will be pivotal in assisting them with challenges such as anxiety, depression, and transitional hurdles in their life stages. With our intensive outpatient programming, you will help guide clients on their journeys to recovery and self-discovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current LMHC licensure in New York State.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is mandatory; additional education is preferred.

• A minimum of one year of practical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth delivery or virtual counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
