Job Summary
The Operating Room (OR) Specialty Nurse located in the healthcare provider's facility is responsible for delivering specialized perioperative care to patients. This role involves maintaining high standards of clinical excellence, collaborating with surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety during procedures. The position is scheduled for night shifts, starting October 19, 2026, with a focus on supporting complex surgical cases and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Job Details

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS*
• Education and experience: At least 1 year of OR nursing experience, valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, approximately 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures, preparing operating rooms, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with complex surgical procedures such as robotic surgeries, vascular, thoracic, and urological surgeries, and working with EPIC charting system.
• Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities and participate in call coverage.
• Submission requirements include providing two references covering the past three years and responding to specific candidate questions regarding previous employment at Providence facilities.
