This position provides design and drafting services for mechanical system such as: piping systems; material handling systems; crushing circuits and HVAC systems. Experience with Revit and Autocad is required.Essential Job Functions: The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:Operate CAD workstation, to support the preparation of designs for industrial sector projects in mining and material handling.Support preparation of mechanical and piping drawings that includes equipment, process piping and HVAC drawings.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Drafting/CADD, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field.Candidate must have 5 or more years of experience.Must be able to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings using AutoCAD.Experience in preparing and understanding P&ID and PFD diagrams required.Must have experience working in a consulting environment.Must have Excel knowledge for preparation of equipment schedules.Must be an independent thinker and be able to assume design assignments with minimal training.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Life at Tetra Tech: The perks of working at Tetra Tech include: comprehensive and market-competitive benefits.
