Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

Senior SPT SMMC Sterile Process

This SPT will be working primarily independently - strong critical thinking and communication skills required.

All experience requirements are hard stops - do not pass or screen.

5 years exp (3 of which should be in a shift lead/preceptor/team lead exp in a hospital setting). CLN may occasionally fill in as shift lead, but will not be a consistent need.

No first time travelers - hard stop.

Variable availability required.

On call required.

Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs.

Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.

The shifts are variable and are the following:

• 0500-1330
• 0630-1500
• 0700-1530
• 1000-1830
• 1330-2200
• 1900-0330
• 2130-0600

On call shifts are the following:

• 2200-0700 weekdays
• 0700-1900 weekends/holidays
• 0700-0700 weekends/holidays

All call is split within the department as fairly as possible.

Certs req: BLS, CBSPD or HSPA

Locals accepted: Yes. Local radius is 50 miles - please reach out to AM for local rate

RTO restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission

Other req: Da Vinci Xi, Getinge Autoclave, Amsco Autoclave, Steris V-Pro, Steris System 1e, Getinge 86 series washer, Triton 72 ultrasonic cleaner
