Our food runner postion plays a critical role in maintaining service efficiency, food accuracy, and guest safety. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. The ideal candidate understands the importance of seat numbers, allergy protocols, and precise plate delivery in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food quickly and accurately using proper seat numbers-no "auctioning" food
• Verify each dish against the ticket before leaving the kitchen
• Clearly identify and confirm allergy-specific meals before delivering to the table
• Communicate directly with expo, kitchen staff, and servers regarding modifications and allergy alerts
• Announce dishes confidently and confirm with guests when delivering allergy-sensitive items
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line and service stations
• Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs when appropriate
• Support smooth communication between front and back of house during peak service

• Ability to memorize table layouts and seat numbering system
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
• Understanding of food allergies and cross-contact prevention (training provided)
• Clear, confident communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Team-oriented mindset with strong sense of urgency
• Prior restaurant or food running experience preferred
