What the job actually is

You run shifts like everyone else on the leadership team - leading the crew through the game plan, holding cookie quality, taking care of customers, keeping the store clean and set up for whoever's next.

But you also carry the parts of the store that don't happen on the floor:

• Inventory and ordering. Counting accurately, catching what's running low before it's a problem, and understanding how ordering affects food cost.
• Hiring. Screening applicants, running interviews, and helping decide who joins this team.
• Onboarding and training. Getting new hires up to speed and making sure they feel like part of the crew in week one, not month three.
• Back-of-house and admin. Scheduling support, checklists, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes a shift run without anyone noticing why.
• Backing up the Store Manager and stepping in when they're off.

The part that matters most

Leadership. Not the word on the org chart - the actual thing.

The crew watches what you do far more than what you say. If you cut a corner when it's busy, that becomes the standard. If you're the first one on the mop and the last one to complain, that becomes the standard too. We're looking for someone who understands that and takes it seriously.

The best assistant managers we've worked with can hold a high bar and stay someone people want to work with. That's a real skill and it's rarer than it should be.

Who we're looking for

• Prior leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality - shift lead, supervisor, assistant manager, whatever the title was
• Someone who notices problems and fixes them instead of reporting them later
• Comfortable having a direct conversation with a teammate and staying warm with a customer five minutes later
• Organized enough to keep the admin side from piling up
• Steady when it's slammed
• Reliable - you're one of the people the whole store leans on
• Open availability including weekends and evenings
• On your feet for a full shift, able to lift up to 50 lbs

Crumbl experience isn't required. If you've run a shift somewhere and people trusted you, we want to talk.

REQUIREMENTS

• Leadership skills and ability to assist the store manager with daily operations
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Maintain excellent cleanliness and follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Full-time availability and willingness to work assigned shifts
• Positive team mindset and ability to lead by example with a smile
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn, improve, and take feedback constructively
