Pipeline Technician

Job Description Job Description This role requires significant travel across the continental United States. Technicians are expected to be on the road consistently. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Obtain project assignments from Project Crew Lead. * Be available to work at assigned schedule times with all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and equipment in working order. * Perform project assignments in accordance with all TIR procedures, safety policies, and in a professional manner. * Complete weekly time reporting by Sunday at noon CT. * Treat work equipment and materials with care to prevent damage. * Assist in tracking in-line inspection tools using geophone, 22Hz receivers, and Hz, and AGM marker boxes, staking AGMs. * When not assigned to a project, communicate with Supervisor and/or TIR Scheduling personnel on a regular basis. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * No minimum experience (On the job training). * NCCER OQ Training. * Knowledgeable of company policies and procedures. * Professional oral and written communication skills. WORKING CONDITIONS External - Work is normally performed in a field environment with exposure to various weather conditions (100%). PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at moderate skill level.
