Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Lawrenceville and Dacula is looking for a high-performing Residential Sales Plumber who can diagnose plumbing issues, educate homeowners, present professional options, and guide customers toward the right solution the right way.

This is not a helper role, training role, or order-taking position. This role is for a confident residential plumbing professional who understands the trade, communicates clearly, presents options professionally, and turns service opportunities into completed jobs while maintaining a high level of professionalism, customer care, and workmanship.

What You will Do

You will run residential plumbing service and sales calls focused on diagnosing larger plumbing issues, identifying legitimate system concerns, and presenting clear repair, replacement, and upgrade options.

Opportunities may include tankless water heater installs and conversions, whole-home filtration and softener systems, reverse osmosis, sewer and drain solutions, gas piping, repiping, well pump systems, pressure issues, major leak repairs, and other higher-value residential plumbing projects. Light commercial plumbing experience is a plus.

You will be expected to:

• Manage the full-service process from inspection and diagnosis through customer education, estimate preparation, documentation, job completion, and payment collection
• Attend company-provided training and continuously improve your technical knowledge, customer communication, ServiceTitan usage, and professional standards
• Maintain working knowledge of applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer requirements, permitting requirements, and company standards, and apply them on every job
• Thoroughly evaluate the plumbing system, identify real repair, replacement, safety, or code-compliance concerns, and educate the homeowner on the best options to protect their home
• Present properly scoped, code-compliant options that protect the customer, support quality workmanship, and meet company expectations for profitability and accepted work
• Wear floor protection, protect the customers home, and keep a clean job site
• Test and document completed work before leaving the job site to reduce callbacks
• Follow the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing system with no shortcuts

What We are Looking For

The right person for this role is part plumber, part advisor, and part closer.

You should be confident walking into a home, identifying what is wrong, explaining what needs to be done, and helping the customer decide without pressure, gimmicks, or scare tactics.

We are looking for someone who operates with ownership, discipline, and professionalism. If you need constant reminders to show up prepared, communicate properly, complete paperwork, keep your truck organized, or follow basic standards, this is not the right fit.

Requirements

• Residential plumbing experience required
• Strong ability to diagnose residential plumbing systems
• Experience presenting repair, replacement, and system upgrade options for residential plumbing projects
• Confident educating homeowners about their plumbing system, explaining options clearly, and guiding customers toward the right solution without pressure or gimmicks
• Clean, professional appearance and respectful attitude, knowing trust can be won or lost from the moment you arrive at the customers home
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening where permitted by law
• Comfortable using an iPad, ServiceTitan, photos, estimates, and digital paperwork
• Available for a demand-driven residential service schedule, including some evenings or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential service plumbing experience
• Georgia plumbing license preferred but not required for the right candidate with a proven record of accomplishment
• Backflow certification preferred; experience performing and documenting backflow testing is a plus
• In-home service or sales experience with a proven record of accomplishment, if available in ServiceTitan
• Experience with ServiceTitan
• Experience with Straight Forward Pricing or flat-rate pricing
• Experience estimating tankless systems, whole-home filtration, reverse osmosis, sewer/drain work, repipes, gas piping, well pump systems, and other higher-value plumbing projects
• Ability to prepare accurate, value-based estimates that reflect proper workmanship, company standards, and a premium customer experience

Compensation

This is a performance-based role with strong earning potential.

Compensation is commission-based and tied to collected job revenue on qualified work sold and completed, according to the companys written compensation plan. Final compensation details will be reviewed and confirmed in writing with management.

Top performers in this role should be motivated by opportunity, accountability, workmanship, customer satisfaction, and results. If you want a capped hourly job where you do the minimum, this is not the right fit.
