ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties

• Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before procedures
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
• Take and update patient records as directed
• Help ensure patient comfort throughout treatment
• Learn and assist with dental charting, treatment planning, and clinical workflows
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the office

Administrative Duties

• Greet patients warmly and provide an exceptional patient experience
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
• Verify insurance eligibility and dental benefits
• Explain treatment plans and answer patient questions
• Handle dental billing, insurance claims, and patient accounts
• Process pre-treatment estimates and review insurance benefits
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
• Assist with office inventory and daily operations
• Coordinate patient follow-ups and recall appointments

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong patient care mindset
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus (not required)
• Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus
• English required
• Spanish and/or Portuguese are a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
