Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: CT Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2-3 years of hospital-based CT experience for a weekend-only 12-hour day shift assignment.Details\n \n Hospital CT unit with 5 scanners\n Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases, with occasional pediatric patients (teenagers, approximately 2-3 monthly)\n Case types include general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head scans\n Performs procedural work including biopsies and drains\n Patient ratio of 1:1\n Uses GE equipment, with GE Revolution and Evo preferred\n EPIC EMR used for charting\n Weekend-only schedule with 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM\n 36 standard hours per week\n No floating required\n No on-call requirements\n Requirements\n \n Minimum 2-3 years of CT experience required\n BLS and ARRT-CT certification required\n License required if applicable\n Hospital setting experience required with the listed patient types and procedures\n GE equipment experience required, with GE Revolution and Evo preferred\n EPIC EMR experience preferred\n Minimum 12 months of core work experience in the specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year\n Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN\n Additional Information\n \n Support on the unit includes other CT techs, Radiology RNs, RRT, Code Blue team, and centralized transport\n Orientation consists of 3 shifts to learn unit flow\n Holiday coverage expected for 1 summer and 1 winter holiday\n Any scrub color accepted except camo or denim\n Free parking available\n First-time travelers will be considered\n Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions\n Former employees of the health system or its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before becoming eligible for travel assignments\n Staff must adhere to a fatigue policy limiting work to no more than 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-759015.
