Our emergency medicine teams are empowered to lead care locally with the backing of a strong national network committed to clinical excellence, intentional leadership development, and collaborative partnership. Here, you’ll practice alongside care teams that work seamlessly across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care—creating smoother transitions, stronger accountability, and better outcomes for the communities we serve. Local Team Collaboration Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians at Pike Medical Center. Work alongside a community-minded team Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts. Qualifications Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience. New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply. Authorized to work in the United States. Scheduling Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance and promote team support. Key Responsibilities Busy emergency department with approximately 10,000 annual visits. 24-hour physician coverage model with 24-hour shifts possible.
