Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations through standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Design individual treatment plans tailored to meet short-term objectives and long-term goals associated with communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing safety.
• Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to create comprehensive care strategies.
• Empower patients and families through education to foster progress beyond the clinical environment.
• Provide support for occasional inpatient speech therapy needs to ensure uninterrupted patient care throughout their healing journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in alignment with all relevant state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through professional development and collaborative learning opportunities.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
