Shift: 3x12 Nights
About the RoleAre you a skilled ICU nurse seeking a new opportunity in a vibrant setting? Do you excel in high-stress environments and have a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care? If this resonates with you, we have a thrilling position available in our Step-Down ICU and ICU units.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the nursing process to provide care for patients in both ICU and Step-Down ICU settings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to nursing standards and state regulations.
- Document patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans for individual patients.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance.
- Offer clinical expertise and support to other departments and units.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.
- Current Illinois Nursing License, along with CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; verification of education is required.
This position is within a Level 1 Trauma Center, where your critical thinking skills and ability to address concerns will be essential for ensuring patient safety and enhancing their experience.
