AY25-26 Adjunct Faculty, Secondary Education English

Overview Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term at Governors State University’s College of Arts and Sciences, within the Division of Arts and Letters. Courses taught are for undergraduates, graduates, or both. Salary Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,300.00 per course. Eligibility and Application Interested individuals are invited to complete a faculty profile, attach a curriculum vitae, and transcripts for consideration. Essential Responsibilities Adjunct Faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not a part of the faculty bargaining unit and are not included in membership of the Faculty Senate. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in a related discipline. Secondary Education teaching license. Teaching experience at secondary level. Preferred Qualifications Online teaching experience. Undergraduate or graduate teaching experience.
