RN - SCU (7a to 7p)

Requisition #: 661762 | Location: Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, Columbia, MD 21044 | Category: Nursing | Schedule: Day Shift | Employment Type: Full Time SCU - 12 hour days. Will train the right candidate who has at least 1 year of current M/S, Tele, Stepdown or PCU hospital nursing experience. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to lower acuity ICU stepdown patients on drips, managing complex medical and surgical problems. Qualifications BSN preferred; if not, must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete the degree within 4 years of the start date. Previous specialty clinical experience preferred for specialty units. Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland. CPR/BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted). ACLS required. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
