Research Nurse (RN or LPN)

Schedule: Rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) + every other weekend

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM start
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM start
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM start
• Schedules are finalized 2–3 weeks in advance

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct study unit activities in support of Phase 1 clinical trials
• Ensure the safety, rights, and well-being of all study participants
• Facilitate and continuously support the Informed Consent (ICF) process, providing clear education on study procedures
• Enroll participants into clinical trials and guide them throughout the study
• Perform clinical assessments to monitor participant health and identify adverse events
• Accurately document adverse events and escalate appropriately
• Perform study-related procedures, including:
• Cannulation
• Venipuncture
• Vital signs collection
• ECGs, telemetry, and Holter monitoring
• Collect, process, and handle biological samples per protocol and SOPs
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
• Transcribe source data into Case Report Forms (CRFs)

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN or LPN license (required)
• Must have minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a patient-facing setting
• MUST Hold CPR or ACLS certifications
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
