Vascular Ultrasonographer - Clinton, MS

Seeking a skilled vascular sonographer to provide diagnostic imaging services as part of an 8-week contract. This opportunity offers consistent day shift hours and the chance to work in a supportive clinical environment. Scrubs will be provided onsite.


Schedule/Hours:

• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Five 8-hour shifts, staggered start times between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
• On-call: one night per week and one weekend per month

Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS certification required
• Active BLS certification necessary
• Must hold a valid MS state license
• Demonstrated proficiency with ultrasound vascular imaging techniques
• Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and record vascular ultrasound procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret and communicate results
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure imaging areas remain clean and organized
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and answer questions to promote comfort
• Participate in on-call rotation per department needs
