Experienced Software Developer Engineer (P-8 Mission Systems)The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to support our P-8 Mission Systems Software team located in Kent, Washington. P-8 is part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security Services (BDS) business unit.In this position, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting Mission Systems software.You'll be an integral part of supporting the P-8 Poseidon program, which is the premier Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platform for the US Navy and several international partners. Upcoming contract awards have enabled team expansion and growth. This franchise program is anticipated to continue to be a stable program for the foreseeable future.We are seeking a leader that is passionate about aerospace and excited to work in a multi-disciplined, collaborative engineering environment that supports the design, development, and implementation of software for existing and emerging government and international programs.This exciting position requires demonstrated experience as a Software Developer, knowledge of the full software development life cycle (requirements, design, code, test), and the clear exhibition of superior judgment and decision making to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities for multiple programs and customers.
