Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team contributing professional/clinical knowledge and skills
• Provide and manage care to patients in Med Surg/Stepdown units
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Work every other weekend
• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 on day shifts and 1:6-7 on night shifts
• Work collaboratively with Patient Care Techs
• Dress code requires black or navy blue scrubs
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 16 hours per week need-based orientation (NBO)
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Illinois state license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Cannot be a former UnityPoint employee within the last 12 months
• First time travelers are acceptable
• Skills checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission date
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission

The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and maintains a collaborative care model with interdisciplinary teams.
