Foundry Production Flow Supervisor

Torrey Holistics

What your day looks likeYou own the flow. As the supervisor guiding our casting and foundry operations, you make sure every component moves through the plant accurately and on time. You start by reviewing Shop Floor Manager (SFM) and ERP data, resolving any mismatches in transactions, quantities, and locations. With the schedule updated, production teams have clear visibility to every component tied to each manufacturing order (MO).Throughout the shift, you orchestrate seamless handoffs between departments, keep WIP controlled, and turn data into action through daily work progress summaries, transaction reports, cycle counts, and open MO reporting. You act as the shop floor liaison to Purchasing—reviewing material status, setting replenishment quantities, and establishing milk runs for floor stock items. You constantly scan for material-flow improvements, applying safety stock strategies and Kanban to remove friction.
