Fiscal Monitor – Hybrid | Phoenix, AZ 85007

Pay Rate: Starts at $26.50/ Hr. + Excellent SoAZ benefits
M–F, 8–5 Full Time Hybrid (a few days in office a month).

Duties/Responsibilities
• Monitor sub-recipient fiscal activity for compliance with grant, federal, and uniform guidance requirements
• Provide technical assistance to sub-recipients, internal staff, and stakeholders
• Assist with the annual allocation of funds to sub-recipients and support Federal/State audits
• Help develop and use standardized risk assessment tools; evaluate subrecipient risk
• Review budgets and prepare federal/other financial analysis reports
• Interpret federal/state regulations, analyze complex financial data using automated systems
• Travel statewide (team-coordinated, not personal vehicles) to monitor fiscal activity and support subrecipient grant teams

Required Qualifications
• 1–2 years’ experience in financial, budget, accounting, or audit work
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Administrational experience (must specify current location on resume)
• Strong computer skills; adaptable and quick learner
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction effectively
• Highly motivated, strong ownership of tasks
• Immediate availability; eligible for phone interview; local to office
Preferred Experience/Certifications
• Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, statistics, economics, or business administration OR a master’s in business/public administration from an accredited college/university
• Experience with audits, system migrations, or customer service
