We have an Assistant Manager position opening at our flagship independent restaurant, The Albany, located in the heart of downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming. The ideal candidate is someone who can lead great shifts independently, and enjoys learning, and can appreciate our crew, our history and heritage, and our fantastic food that is made with great care.

This position is perfect for anyone who:

Is proficient with Toast POS and money management and reconciliation

Is at least 21 years of age and can work respectfully around alcohol
Has night & weekend availability and appreciates Sundays off
Has a polished presentation and a good, natural rapport with people
Is willing to hold themselves and others accountable in an empowering way
Can partner with current Management and Ownership to create the best version of The Albany
Can maintain friendly professionalism as a priority, but is also fun to work with
Is someone our Team looks forward to working with and can set the tone with great energy

Nature & Scope:

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in supervising guest experiences and other key restaurant operation activities. The Assistant General Manager will uphold the company's vision, values, and culture,

Essential duties:

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) works in accordance with our established policies and standards and in support of the General Manager. Primary duties include shift supervision focused on providing excellent guest service and giving direction and support to team members ensuring productivity, quality product, safety, and health department compliance. The position contributes to the success of the restaurant by reaching/ exceeding sales targets and working towards company goals.

Must be able to meet the varying demands of restaurant operations, including working flexible hours and a variety of shifts
Valid driver's license and car insurance
ServSafe certification and Alcohol certification is a plus, or we can assist in gaining
