Position Overview

You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct crucial diagnostic procedures while collaborating with a committed group of healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes through prompt and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a spectrum of ultrasound exams, spanning abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining each phase clearly and with empathy
• Work synergistically with radiologists and referring providers to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and upkeep ultrasound equipment, notifying maintenance teams of any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within our electronic healthcare system
• Remain updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus

Skills Needed
