This opportunity calls for a skilled pharmacist to provide pharmacy coverage from September 21st through September 25th at a retail pharmacy affiliated with a hospital. The role involves managing pharmacy operations as if it were your own, supporting a team of two full-time pharmacy technicians and a PRN pharmacist.

Responsibilities include:

• Counseling patients on medication use and safety
• Accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Performing final verifications before dispensing
• Overseeing daily pharmacy workflow and ensuring efficient operations

The pharmacy handles approximately 500 prescriptions per week, offering a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Colorado Pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacist experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply
