About the Role

As a Studio Support team member, you won't just be an aide in our studios (classroom) — you'll be a relationship-builder, a co-regulator, and a genuine part of a child's world. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work alongside a Developmental and Studio Leads, SLP, and BCBA to implement individualized plans and create meaningful, inclusive learning experiences.

What You’ll Do

Play-Based & Child-Led Support

• Implement play-based, naturalistic strategies in daily routines
• Support individualized learner plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Follow the learner’s lead while maintaining safe, structured environments
• Encourage communication using AAC, gestures, and verbal language
• Promote peer interaction and inclusive play

Support Independence & Life Skills

• Assist with routines: arrival, meals, transitions, toileting, hygiene
• Break tasks into steps to build independence and confidence
• Support life skills like food prep, cleaning, and daily responsibilities
• Prioritize autonomy, consent, and intrinsic motivation

Maintain a Safe & Clean Environment

• Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols
• Maintain organized, hazard-free learning spaces
• Support daily and routine cleaning schedules
• Ensure safe mealtime and hygiene practices

Communication & Documentation

• Track attendance, transitions, and daily updates
• Use Lillio for real-time documentation and communication
• Share observations with team and leadership
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA-aligned practices

Collaborate with the Team

• Work closely with Developmental and Studio staff, SLPs, and BCBAs
• Support consistency across classrooms and therapy settings
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Experience working with children (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for neurodiversity-affirming, child-centered care

Requirements

• CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass required background clearances
• Ability to work in an active, hands-on environment

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent movement: standing, kneeling, lifting, and floor play
• Ability to support children physically when needed
• Work with children ages 12 months – 14 years with diverse developmental needs
• Fast-paced, engaging, and highly collaborative environment
