Immigration Legal Assistant (Bilingual English & Spanish)

Bilingual Legal Assistant (English/Spanish) Duration: 3-4 Month Temporary Assignment We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Legal Assistant to support attorneys and ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, has strong organizational skills, and is passionate about providing excellent client service. Key Responsibilities Collect, review, organize, and maintain evidence and legal documents for case preparation and attorney review Draft, proofread, and prepare legal correspondence and documents, including pleadings, contracts, and reports Conduct legal and regulatory research to support case files and attorney needs Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and vendors to coordinate meetings, interviews, and depositions Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems with accuracy and confidentiality Assist with client billing, including preparing invoices and resolving billing inquiries with attorneys Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and assist with administrative support tasks Provide general office and case management support as needed Qualifications & Skills Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) Legal Assistant experience is required Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage confidential information professionally Comfortable handling both electronic and paper files Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 1–5 years of Legal Assistant experience required Prior law firm or corporate legal department experience preferred Experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment is highly preferred We are looking for a dependable professional who can contribute immediately and support our legal team during this temporary assignment.
