What You'll Do

• Provide specialized care to cardiovascular stepdown patients, including post-op cardiac surgery and electrophysiology cases
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical responses, utilizing critical judgment for intervention
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital standards
• Support patients with congestive heart failure, PCI, TAVR, MitraClip, and pacemaker procedures
• Assist in managing national clinical trials through the CVU research department

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Michigan or active multi-state license
• Minimum 2 years of bedside RN experience in cardiac, ICU, or stepdown units
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work the night shift and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
