Professional Requirements * Positions and transfers patients to the examination table. * Provides immobilization devices as required. * Selects proper technical factors on an individual basis. * Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all diagnostic equipment use within the department or satellite areas. Use initiative when reporting equip. malfunctions to supervisors or service organize * Operates stationery and mobile x-ray equipment and processes images according to established procedures and send them to PACS. * Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards. * Assists physicians in preparing and administering contrast media for various special procedures. * Responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of routine or special procedures. * Practices sterile techniques and adheres to infection control policies. * Provides a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply diagnosis. * Performs all other duties as required.
