Role : Junior Ignition Developer

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Junior Ignition Developer to support Ignition SCADA/HMI integration and development activities for Cooler/Freezer Systems.

The selected candidate will assist with designing, developing, testing, deploying, and commissioning Ignition-based SCADA/HMI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Ignition Perspective screens for SCADA/HMI applications.

Configure and manage Ignition Tags and UDTs, including instantiation and mapping to PLC tags.

Work with PLC data structures and support industrial networking and system integration activities.

Develop basic SQL queries and work with SQL-based data where required.

Test HMI/SCADA screens using live or simulated PLC data.

Troubleshoot issues during testing, deployment, and commissioning.

Document testing results, configurations, and system changes.

Support commissioning activities and occasional onsite visits as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Hands-on experience developing Ignition Perspective screens.

Working knowledge of Ignition Tags and UDTs.

Experience instantiating UDTs and mapping them to PLC tags.

Understanding of PLC data structures and basic industrial networking concepts.

Basic knowledge of SQL.

Ability to test SCADA/HMI screens against live or simulated PLC data.

Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
