Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Waimea, HI
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | No Weekends, Holidays, or On-Call Requirements

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an exciting opportunity in Waimea, HI.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine procedures and diagnostic studies
Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine scans in accordance with established standards and protocols
Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the imaging department
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
Participate in teaching and instructional activities when applicable
Provide patient care appropriate to all age groups and developmental levels
Follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols at all times

Requirements

Current Hawai‘i Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required
Current BLS/HCP certification required
One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of nuclear medicine physics and radiopharmaceutical administration
Understanding of radiation safety procedures and imaging protocols
Experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a single-tech environment
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
