• Analyze benefits data and system workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for HR and business users.
• Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure data integrity through audits, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
• Monitor system performance, user feedback, and business needs to recommend and implement process improvements that reduce manual processing time and improve accuracy.
• Support annual open enrollment cycle, including system setup, testing, and post-cycle analysis.
• Provide end-user support, training, and documentation efforts for end-users and stakeholders to drive adoption and understanding of compensation tools.
• Stay current on Workday releases and industry best practices, proactively recommending enhancements.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Investigate and perform root cause analysis on system errors.
• Proactively evaluates and recommends adoption of changes as they meet organizational needs and implement system capabilities.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into configurations. This is a functional Benefits Analyst role , not an IT or platform configuration position. The ideal candidate has deep health and welfare benefits expertise and uses Workday as a tool to support benefit plan setup, annual plan year changes, open enrollment, reporting, and employee elections. Work Arrangement:
• Minimum three years of HRIS experience, with two years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience, specifically in benefits.
• Proficient in Workday Core HCM, reporting, security, calculated fields, and business process configuration.
• Experience supporting benefit planning cycles in a corporate environment.
• Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Proven ability to design and sustain business processes, especially in environments with evolving system capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools for reporting.
• Experience with testing, configuration, and troubleshooting within Workday or other ERP platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language. - Hybrid: For candidates within 60 miles of Albuquerque, on-site presence is expected on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
