Remote/Hybrid – St. Paul, MN Long-Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture.
- Develop and maintain Azure SQL, Oracle, and Databricks-based data solutions.
- Design data models, database schemas, and data integration processes.
- Build ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory.
- Optimize database performance, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure data governance best practices.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of Data/Database Architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL/ELT, and data migration.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and database optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure CLI/PowerShell, and Azure Resource Manager.
- Knowledge of RBAC, encryption, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Teradata Data Warehouse.
- Azure Monitor, SQL Analytics, and Query Performance Insight.
- Experience supporting government or large-scale enterprise data modernization projects.
