Regional Manager

Purpose: The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall success & operation of branches within the region. This includes training, pricing management, personnel development, and sustaining growth. The Regional Manager will also be responsible for promoting and fostering safety and efficiency in all employees and working safely at all times.

Essential Duties:

• Sales Production and meeting quota for all branches in the region.
• Training and Development of all BM's in the region.
• Coaching all employees on policies, sales training, safety, and ethics.
• Monitor the business performance on a daily, weekly and period basis.
  • Identify and communicate potential problems or reasons for lack of adequate revenue growth with DVP and senior management.
  • Implement solutions to identified problems.
• Develop and implement sales contest and incentives to increase new business opportunities.
• Assist the Branch Manager in hiring branch personnel.
• Present a positive image of Heritage-Crystal Clean to fellow employees, external contacts, the general public
• Manage, collaborate and coach RSM, Field Service Manager, and ASM within the region
• Monitor performance of management within the region

Core Competencies and Specific Skills:

• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
• Strong Sales and Sales analysis skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with Division and Branch management as well as other members of branches and the corporate office.
• Ability to motivate sales and service staff.
• Ability to train all branch personnel to provide quality service and how to increase sales
• Proven record in sales.
• HCC Driver Qualifications & CDL preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' HCC experience or related industry experience
• Prior HCC Branch Management experience preferred

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• CDL Recommended

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment including a respirator
• Safety glasses when working at customers or in the field
• Steel toe boots when working at customers or in the field

Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach with hands, stand, walk, drive frequently, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment. Essential duties require bending, squatting and twisting frequently. Employee will frequently be exposed to dirt, dust and fumes.

Noise level of the environment is generally moderate, but may vary depending on customer site visits. Occasionally may be required to lift/move up to 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.
