PumpMan Allison Park PA, 3812 William Flynn Highway, Allison Park, Pennsylvania, United States of America Job Description We are looking for a qualified Buyer to manage vendor relationships, procurement, and inventory processes. The role involves working closely with service teams, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Buyer Responsibilities Work closely with vendors to maintain professional relationships and ensure positive, long‑term partnerships. Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient and timely job completion, focusing on maximizing revenue. Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services. Select suitable suppliers based on reliability, product quality, and cost‑efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and determine purchase needs. Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts and prices. Prepare and process purchase orders, maintaining a high level of attention to detail for data accuracy. Track purchase orders throughout the entire PO lifecycle, from creation to closure. Receive deliveries into the ERP system based on signed proofs of delivery provided by the warehouse team. Save all purchase order confirmations, tracking information, and proof of delivery paperwork directly to the ERP system. Work with the warehouse team to ensure physical locations are accurately reflected in the ERP system. Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities Manage and track outgoing items for returns, repair, or service. Notify the team of all items received each day, including linked job information and salesperson. Track, trace, and update the system status of incoming deliveries. Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area. Provide additional backup support for periodic inventory counts. A/P Responsibilities Review all SROs for final postings and freight before sending to AP for invoicing. Maintain an excellent working relationship with vendors.
