Commercial Attorney for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply commercial contracting expertise to help develop real-world agreement materials used to train next-generation AI systems. This remote, document-driven contract role centers on sourcing, drafting, reviewing, and delivering eligible transaction documents for practical commercial use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and provide high-quality templates, samples, and annotated examples of Master Service Agreements, lease agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements, marketing agreements, and other licensing agreements.
• Ensure agreements reflect current legal standards, relevant legal requirements, industry best practices, and practical commercial scenarios.
• Submit well-structured, high-quality documents for the project’s AI training dataset.
• Communicate promptly and professionally in writing and verbally to clarify requirements and deliverables.
• Source and supply the transaction materials directly.

Qualifications

• Practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with experience drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Working knowledge of standard commercial agreements, including MSAs, lease agreements, IP agreements, marketing contracts, and licensing agreements.
• Strong contract drafting and legal document review skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with close attention to detail, clarity, and accuracy in contractual language.
• Ability to create or adapt legal documents for practical, real-world situations.
• Ability to collaborate remotely and complete assignments autonomously.
• Detail-oriented approach to legal compliance and industry best practices.
• Experience or interest in legal operations, legal technology, or AI-enabled platforms is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.
• Compensation is paid per document delivered.

Compensation

$80 to $100 per hour.
