JANITOR (FULL TIME AND SEASONAL)

Job Details Location: Pittston, PA 18640 Schedule: Full time; Wednesday - Saturday night shift Requirement: Janitorial experience preferred but not required Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dust and mop floors using approved procedures. Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and restore to correct placement. Clean assigned areas with designated materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning procedure. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines. Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet. Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others. Perform other duties as assigned.
