OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Hockessin, DE by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Operate long-haul dry van freight nationwide while based in Hockessin, DE. HMD offers strong mileage pay starting at 65 CPM with typical weekly averages near 2,500 miles and bonus opportunities for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.
What you'll do:
- Run OTR solo dry van lanes, securely handle freight, and complete timely deliveries.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch on routing and schedule adjustments.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
- Professional conduct and a safe driving record; home every two weeks.
