Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Students with Disabilities (grades K–12) is required.
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP implementation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing, supportive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction designed for students with varying abilities in accordance with IEPs and educational best practices.
• Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student success.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress, document growth, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages self-advocacy and independence.
