TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, PALS Description: Must have prior experience. Four day shifts scheduled between Monday and Friday. Start time depends on daily assignment. RN shifts are typically from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. There are three RNs scheduled in the PACU each day. An overnight call shift is required once per week. Call starts at the end of a 9-hour shift until 7:00 AM. If not working on a call day, call begins at 5:00 PM. Two weekend call shifts are expected during a 6-week period. Weekend shifts may include two Saturday shifts, two Sunday shifts, or a combination of both. The facility is an 815-bed acute care establishment. It serves as a regional referral center for specialized care. The hospital offers multiple specialties, including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, and women's services. The cardiovascular department provides open heart and interventional cardiology. The facility is recognized for its high-quality services and has received multiple awards. There is a children's hospital on-site with dedicated beds for infants and children. The hospital continues to expand with recent constructions to improve patient care. Staff appreciate the friendly atmosphere and supportive management. The surrounding area is known for its natural beauty and vibrant arts community.
