CDL-A Rolloff Driver

Description:TEI is seeking a reliable and motivated CDL-A Roll-Off Driver/Front Loader Dumpster Truck/Maintenance Assistant to join the JP's Disposal Inc. division. This dual-role position includes operating roll-off trucks to transport containers to and from job sites and providing hands-on support in the JP's roll-off dumpster repair and maintenance shop. The ideal candidate is safety-conscience, mechanically inclined, and flexible to meet operational demands.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Driving & Hauling (Approx. 70%)Operate CDL Class-A, B roll-off truck to pick up and deliver rental dumpstersSafely navigate urban and rural routes, including backing into tight spacesPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete appropriate paperworkSecure loads in compliance with DOT regulations and company standardsMaintain accurate delivery logs and service documentationMaintenance Shop Assistant (Approx. 30%)Assist shop foreman in the repair process of JP's and customers roll-off dumpstersPerform shop clean-up, grinding/basic welding on dumpsters, and painting dumpstersOperate forklift and pressure washerHelp maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentSupport scheduled maintenance and emergency repair projectsQUALIFICATIONS:Valid CDL-A license with clean driving recordBasic mathematical skills a mustTWIC ( and able to obtain a DBIDS )Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and geometrical visualization a mustMinimum 1 year of experience operating roll-off trucks preferredBasic mechanical knowledge or experience in a shop environmentAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varied weather conditionsStrong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detailMust pass DOT drug screen and background checkBENEFITS:Health, dental, and vision insurance.Health insurance covered 100% by TEI at 5 year work anniversary401(k) with employer match after 90 daysPaid time off, holiday pay, and bereavement payE04JI800i19n4097fy7 #J-18808-Ljbffr Tech9
