Position Overview
Harmony in Mental Health Coalition Service is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. This full-time position allows you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges, providing crucial therapeutic interventions in a flexible work setting at our Detox Center in Stamford, Connecticut.

Work Environment
Our clinic operates remotely, offering flexible work hours to accommodate both client needs and staff well-being. While you will mainly work from home, you will remain an integral part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to client progress. You'll enjoy the convenience of remote work while having direct access to dynamic resources and support within our Detox Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, gathering critical information on clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and existing support systems.
- Provide individualized, family, and group therapy utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, adapting your approach to fit the diverse needs of our clientele.
- Develop and execute personalized treatment plans, defining clear goals and integrating relevant strategies to facilitate client recovery and empowerment.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and additional treatment professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes for each client.
- Facilitate crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary, demonstrating compassion and professionalism under pressure.
- Maintain organized and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory adherence.
- Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, focusing on building community and resilience among participants.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on adults facing various mental health challenges, including those experiencing substance use issues, anxiety disorders, trauma, and depression. Your work will involve understanding and addressing the complex needs of a diverse demographic, including individuals from varying backgrounds and circumstances. As part of a dedicated team, you will help empower clients on their journey towards recovery and improved mental well-being.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Active LCSW licensure in Connecticut is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practice.
- Strong familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and innovative treatment approaches.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, fostering a trust-based relationship with clients.
Preferred Experience
Experience working within a detox or inpatient setting is favorable, as is expertise in facilitating group therapy or conducting support groups. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms is also advantageous, ensuring an efficient client management process.
Compensation and Benefits
