Refrigeration Technician

Our client is a 2nd generation family-owned business that services frozen dessert machines and freezers. Due to growth seeking a Refrigeration Technician (RT) to join the team. This is a field service position. Primary duties include:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain ice cream machines, frozen dessert equipment, and commercial freezers.

• Complete service work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment installations accurately and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical issues to minimize customer equipment downtime.

• Test, inspect, and verify proper operation of newly installed or repaired refrigeration equipment.

• Communicate professionally with customers to diagnose issues and explain repairs, maintenance, and equipment recommendations.

Position reports to Owner/President.

Ideal candidates for Refrigeration Technician (RT) will possess the following:

• Vocational or trade schooling in AC&R / HVAC. Will consider military technical training.

• 2+ years working AC&R / HVAC systems

• Current/clean driving record as RT’s will be assigned a tool-equipped vehicle.

Pay is $30-43/hr based on experience. Hours Mon-Fri (every 6th Sat), 8:30am-5pm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k match, etc.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $43.00 per hour
