Northbrook Rehabilitation Center is actively hiring a Medical Records Administrator to support the organization, accuracy, and confidentiality of resident medical records. The Medical Records Administrator plays an important role in maintaining accurate documentation, scanning and uploading records, and supporting efficient medical records processes. As a Medical Records Administrator, attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality are essential to daily success.
Compensation: $15 per hour | Daily Pay Available!
Schedule and Employment Type
Monday-Friday | (8AM - 4:30PM)
Temporary Position with the potential for full-time employment
Assignment length to be determined based on medical records and scanning needs
Key Responsibilities
Review, organize, and file patient medical records as the Medical Records Administrator
Scan and upload documents accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems
Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained
Respond to medical records requests from patients, hospitals, physicians, and insurance companies
Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements
Track admissions, discharges, and other required patient documentation
Assist with audits, record retention, and other medical records processes as needed
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Computer and data-entry skills
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EHR) systems
Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Healthcare or medical records experience preferred, but not required
