Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health, a national leader in post-acute care, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide hands-on therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist, helping patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic conditions, and other major illnesses regain function and independence. You will lead patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and mobility activities while closely monitoring progress and documenting outcomes. Working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, you’ll partner with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and benefit from robust professional development, specialty training, and growth opportunities.
