What you'll be doing:Collaborate with Hardware, Software, and System Architecture teams to define end-to-end solutions.Define the firmware architecture for new products and features at the core of NVIDIA's SOC and GPU firmware and software.Lead the development and implementation of strategic technologies, including functional safety, security, and next-generation system-on-chip and graphics processing unit capabilities.Drive technical direction across multiple teams while ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-quality firmware architecture.We are close knit, diverse group, with experience across a range of technologies, with emphasis on the semiconductor industry. Our team members are all integral parts of the team, sharing in our successes and challenges.What we need to see:Understanding of Windows Kernel-mode Drivers and Device FirmwareTrack record of success in solving complex problems with C, C++, or related languages.Experience with virtual memory management, interrupt handling, and other low-level system software functionality.Collaborative demeanor with ability to consider new insights and alternative solutions to sophisticated problems!Proven track record in firmware and/or software engineeringExcellent communicator and a team-player mentalityBS or a higher degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience8+ years of relevant software experience Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience with system and chip bring upBackground with virtualization technologies and containersGraphics programming knowledge (not required, but advantageous)NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
