26011055 Registered Nurse (RN) Neurosurgical Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better +Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full Time 7:00 pm – 7:00 am- Rotating Weekends/Holidays Department Highlights Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team 36-bed Neurosurgical Unit The neurosurgical team provides care to the patient population with Neurosurgical, elective spine, cervical and lumbar surgeries, Brain tumor patients, cranial hemorrhage patients just out of ICU and back up stroke unit- this unit may also have some remote tele patients MAGNET facility Level I Trauma Center Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire required NIHSS -National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire required 1 Year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
